Since its creation in 2000, ECODEC has specialized in the treatment of non-hazardous household and industrial waste, and more particularly in the following areas:

The sorting of DIB-DIC (Ordinary Industrial Waste and Commercial) and the Selective Collection of Household Garbage,


Recycling plastic waste and used tires, manufacturing eco-products.After having obtained in 2001 a Prefectural Authorization Order for the installation and operation of a Sorting Center and a Recycling Unit for Plastics and Tires on its site, ECODEC built a plant located on the site of the Gabarre. This plant has been operational since March 2004.


ECODEC participates in the recycling of plastic waste throughout the Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Jamaica, St. Martin, Antigua & Barbuda, Nevis & St Kitts, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Trinidad) through partnerships with local businesses.


The company is involved in the recycling of used tires from Guadeloupe, Martinique and Antigua.

ECODEC is the recovery sector approved by ECO-EMBALLAGES for Guadeloupe and Martinique, which have about 900,000 inhabitants, and this for all the fractions Plastics from sorting the selective collection of household waste for a period of 6 years, renewed in 2008.

In this context, ECODEC is in perfect symbiosis with the SYVADE (regulator)of the Agglomération of Pointoise  to support the implementation of Selective Collection in Guadeloupe and the emergence of a caribbean waste treatment sector adapted to local specificities and respecting European and French regulations on the protection of the environment.
